FMC completes acquisition of BioPhero

BioPhero is now officially a part of FMC Corporation upon the closure of the acquisition deal announced on 29 June 2022.

“I am pleased to announce that the deal closed earlier today,” says BioPhero Chief Executive Officer Kristian Ebbensgaard, and continues: “We are excited about what the future holds for BioPhero as we continue to grow our pheromone business supported by one of the world’s largest plant protection companies.”

BioPhero’s pheromone solutions will become part of FMC’s biologicals portfolio. On 22 June, FMC unveiled a new Plant Health business brand identity, ‘Biologicals by FMC,’ reflecting its commitment to biological crop protection.
